About

How it Works
MarsHax is in essence a parallel application of Mars Explorer, and was built in Unity utilizing the same networking library. Thus, every networked method that is currently in Mars Explorer can be remotely called through the hacked client and taken advantage of. This method is extremely robust and is not comparable in any way to "memory hacking".

Advantages and Limitations
While using MarsHax, you cannot be seen in the active player list and thus cannot be evicted or banned by the host. You also have the ability to change the server settings at will as well as many other things. Unfortunately, you cannot evict other players from the server due to limitations with the networking library. However, you are able to change the server ban list which effectively bans joining players with the IP or username specified from joining as well as destroy vehicles of players already in the server.

Detection of Hacked Clients
Smart players can detect if a hacked client is currently in a server by checking the connection count in the main server list and comparing it to the number of players in the active player list. One way to prevent detection is to hide the server from the server list.

Known Bugs
• Some Whirlds contain cameras nested inside terrains which can overlay themselves over the roam camera causing issues.
• Clients may display framerate issues as the chat message count increases.
• Other player vehicles may not spawn immediately on joining the server. Changing the server settings to default may correct this issue.
• Laser shots fired by other hacked clients may not show up with the correct laser color in roam mode.
